US-based Vomela Companies has acquired events and installations specialist Moss.
The deal expands Vomela’s presence in live events and experiential production, while also adding a significant European footprint.
Moss will retain its brand
Under the agreement, Vomela will merge its Fusion events unit into Moss. The combined business will operate as Moss, A Vomela Company. Moss will retain its brand, and will be led by Moss president and chief executive Jason Popp.
Founded in 1955, Moss is headquartered in Franklin Park, Illinois, with operations across the US and Europe.
The company specialises in tension fabric architecture, modular systems and custom-built structures. It works with brands, agencies, exhibit houses and architectural partners.
Vomela runs over 20 production facilities across North America
Vomela operates more than 20 production facilities across North America, and employs more than 1,600 people.
Over the years, Vomela has worked on projects like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the TCS New York City Marathon. Its work spans retail, live events and large-scale brand activations.
Mark Auth, president and chief executive of Vomela Companies, said: “By adding Moss to Vomela, we are bringing together two organisations whose strengths naturally align.”
He added: “Moss’s solutions design and structural engineering expertise perfectly complements our scale in printing, fabrication, installation, and logistics.”
Jason Popp said: “Vomela’s scale, infrastructure, and operational strength will enable us to serve customers with even greater reach, speed, and consistency.”
The acquisition follows Vomela’s purchase of PFL earlier this year, a company that provides data-driven direct mail services.
Private equity firm The Riverside Company invested in Vomela in January 2025. The Moss deal is Vomela’s second acquisition since that investment.
Craig Kahler, partner at Riverside, said: “We are thrilled to have this remarkable company back in the fold.”
